A Bowler? Knitting? lol...tell us what you did before you discovered the internet... What occupied your spare time?

I used to spend my weekends searching for records and hanging out in Manchester city centre, in the week i just used to visit friends or watch tv. I do miss all that but times change, and i like the friends i have made here too.

you have me thinking WAY back now

Spare time was rare prior to the net,

Worked as a bartender 12-14 hours a day (those were the days sorta)

But strange thing, I hosted dart & backgammon tourneys

people actually sitting across from each other

International (net) vs Local (live)

Wonders, technology has made it a smaller world,
but maybe a little less personal

Even saying that I met 100's I would never had a chance to talk to

Concentrated on my studies lol...
Now look at me

I simply did not exist before the net... I guess I just bummed around like normal kids. Although I was never a normal kid. Truthfully I can't recall what I did. I spend my time trying to forget my prior life events.

I'm not a net junkie anymore. I've been without it for a while. Now I realise there is a life out there, and I have found things to do. So it's nice to have that balance now. I still pop on from time to time, and now probably more frequently seeing as I have my pooter back in my house (It's been at a friend's place 'cause I've been helping them out with stuff).

So, what do I do now that I have the net but don't need it? I do house hold chores. I have friends I visit. I help people out with stuff. I go places and find things to do. I walk the dog...
