Hi all,

We are coming up to a year since the site started. When nidink was created we decided that this was going to be our online home because nothing out there was suitable for us. I mean there are plenty of good sites around for gaming with chat, but they didn't feel like home to us. So we didn't stick around to try to make those sites adapt to our likes.

Having the basic skills we had, we decided to go ahead and just make our own. We didn't care if only 50 ppl came here or 500 because it was never about the numbers or making a profit, it was soley to have a place where people can pop in have a bit of banta and play a few games in our lesuire time or to keep us busy when we had nothing to do at home, (better known as a hobby), something to excerise our minds and see what we are capable of creating and sharing with those who wish to enjoy it.

i think it's fair to say this has been achieved and as much fun as it has been, sometimes its not been easy either having to read attacks on nidink from those who wish to see us fail.

BUT we are who we are and we keep going, basically not much is getting in our way and sometimes its funny to see what levels some wlll stoop to in order to get things their way.

Well for all out there, we as admin wish to make it clear, we are a FUN site and nothing will change that for our members, We want to have fun too and be on par with our members. Some times members come here with speak of what they can offer the site, some are genuine and they show it by helping in the way they do for which we hope we show how greatful we are, others come with a different agenda, one to suit their own need for power.

Sadly to say we admin don't always see this until it's too late but none the less we take steps to correct our mistake. Nidink will never be a site full of too many chiefs and not enough indians. When we do alter things to get back to a relaxed mode, those we have had to remove generally start attacks by claiming they will hack us and bring nidink down.

Security of the site is always of upmost importance so this will not only lead to demoting the member but actually banning them, with good reason, this generally leads to the immature attacks on other sites, whether it be in another game site or in forums or message boards or personal webspaces provided by a third party.

This only clarifies the move we made to remove an individual was the right thing to do and we just have to ride the storm till they get it out of their system or find a new toy.

We apologies for any inconvience caused and just wish to assure you that all we do is for the best of the site and for the good people who enter here to play games and socialise. We can't allow individuals that didn't get to change nidink in to what they wanted, ruin the fun for the rest of us, so on we go, we have work to do and that's just what we intend to do.

We will continue to listen to the ideas of the members here and implement them if possible based on what the majority want. We hope you continue to enjoy your games and time here and understand that sometimes despite what is said out there or in here, we have to make harsh decisions for the best for our members who really enjoy making this site what it is today.

Very impressive Nidi. You stated all with such tactfulness. Not sure how ya managed that considerin the subject.

I, personally, wouldnt have been able to say anything you did wiff a straight face regarding hackers, attackers, etc .....I woulda busted out laughin!
