Hosts & Players

We have a lot of New Players coming to Nidink , most are coming through Facebook at a steady pace.
We can use some Help & Understanding from all of us ) Hosts & Players ) to help get this site growing....

New Euchre Players will enter social room at first they might play the Bots but some end up leaving thinking Euchre is dead , they don't know about our tour room or how it works.

Inky does the best he can to bring them over to our room, but he does this in every room so we can't rely solely on him to catch all the new players so we can use some more support .
Keep in mind we can be in both rooms at the same time
if anyone would like to help just come to social room helping with training & explaining .. We can list some macro's to addy in social room


Players:
If you see a new player and they sit at a table, you can help by sitting with them right of way that makes them feel comfortable, then just explain what time we start etc , help with greetings

Hosts,
First thing we would like to point out is we don't have a close tourney by 10 min after the hour rule here.
You are in charge of your Tourney yes , but plz keep in mind a few things while Hosting.
Keeping players playing is more important to growth then when we start or close a tourney

Suggestion below is example of how you can keep things rolling ... some are already doing and is working well

Since we have an hour before the next Host , you can keep seating until half past the hour..
If you have players wanting to play just keep filling tables with 2nd chances and players as they enter.

You can separate fast tables from the slow and later starting tables .This way you are making 2 tourneys and 2 set of winners or 3 winners if nessasary ... you can start early like 15 till if it makes sense and you have a few full tables waiting ,,regardless of how you do it you can be done in an hour or shortly after.. but what you have done is kept the room rolling , cut down the wait time , and able to provide a game for those that want to play..

My thoughts on being a host is we are here for the players. Therefore we should respect them and welcome them. It is our job to make sure all players enjoy playing in our tourneys.

When we see a new player sit at a table and we all know they dont know anyone in there, take the time and sit with them...Make them feel at home..We are there for the players...no players..we cant host..
