REVERSE STRATEGY............

YOU ARE PLAYING TO LOSE... THE GOAL IS TO GET EUCHRED EACH TIME YOU CALL.....


Rule 1 The best Seats are EAST WEST ..... SEATS .. West IS the best Seat,
being 1st after the dealer.....

Rule 2 NEVER pass ......

Rule 3 GO Alone...... Always
Exceptions.. If you have an absolute lay down... CALL but DON’T go alone.. IF you pass they will call it and you will get 2 points ANYWAY
The reason being.. Your P can pick up a trick and then its only 2 points or the OPS can pick up a trick and then its only 1 point.... 1 point is better than 2... and 2 points are better than 4 ..... we play Percentages

Rule 4 if your P is going to take a trick either take it from him with your HIGHEST card OR trump it with yr HIGHEST trump.....
Rule 5 If the OPS pass CALL and GO ALONE No matter what..... watch where the lead is....

Rule 6 When you are ORDERED up the best thing to do is discard your highest Trump But in some cases sometimes if you have say 9 or 10 of trump keep it and discard a different HIGH card.....

There are some very good reverse players .. each of us has a different way of Playing.... but these are the basic Strategies and like all good plans they sometimes fail...

It would be more of a challenge if you couldnt go alone in reverse format, it would have to show more skill then being the one able to go alone each time, the way you play is suicide reverse. I would think you would have to think when playing this format.............just my thoughts thanks slow
