Hi there just played a tourney in backgammon.

I was shocked that the game was a "rated" game.

I did not see an option to set up a non-rated game.

Two things I ask.

1. that rated games are an option, special in tourney rooms

2. that rating are re-set once you have this as an option.

I will make a new nic & play in that till this is fixed,
I do play rated games, but not 1 point games
To have a tourney, where the game is 1 point, I do not feel it should effect your rating on a coin flip.
5 points or better might be an idea for a filter for rated games.

As i explained in the room , yes this will change in the near future, possibly tomorrow...

Intex has worked very hard the last two days to get the rating system to work as we want it to, now he has implemneted it, in the future (tomorrow possibly) intex will disconnect the rating system from the tour rooms, there is no need for tour games to be be rated. This is something i feel myself too.

Sometimes things are implements and a problem is highlighted when things come in to play. We are not going to leave it like this. We just ask everyone to be patient while we sort out the little glitches that may appear after any change. The issues are not ignored.

Intex deserved tonight off to relax after all his efforts, and its only been the first day of rated games, most are very happy with it and I am sure you and others (including myself) who play tours will be after tomorrow too... if not tomorrow then in the very very near future.

The ratings have now been removed from tour rooms
