maybe someone should gently tell most of the facebook players, that it really isn't necessary to go alone when your score is 8 or 9. some peeps dont like it but for me, i dont care.

I dont mind if the score is 8 to 9 just for the fact you could get to 10 on your own but might not be able to if you take your partner with you cause they could lead off wrong. If your way ahead in score i see no point in going alone but I believe it's should be players choice.

Myself i dont care i belive that if ya got the cards play them the way the should be played. the idea of the game is to play to win and have fun .

I go alone on 8 but not on 9..
And i don't get upset if anyone goes alone on 9.
I agree that going alone on 8 is ok for the fact that your p's hand or your p having the lead can mess things up.
As far as going alone on 9.. hey. ya got a good hand.. go for it.. You lose by 1 or by 3. no biggie..
Everyone needs to just remember its only a game and we arent playing for a million bucks or new car etc...

Going alone is part of the game, most of us may not go alone on 8 or 9 but there are several reasons that players do including:
* not paying attention to the score ( multi tasking, on phone or other distractions )
* excitement
* They just don't think about it they way most do
* New Players , still trying to adjust to the site and room etiquette
* Etc

Now our reaction to someone going alone on 9 is what counts:
We could
*choose to make a issue out of it , without taking inconsideration the excuses above, and risking offending someone who is just playing a game and chase them away
* or understand that shit happens

No big deal about going alone, its just a game, play and have fun, its not your life remember.
